Bumbo Baby Bethany

Bethany sat in her "Bumbo" chair tonight for the first time.  I really didn't think she was big enough, but Jermie thought we should try.  She LOVED it!  In this picture, she's thinking "Yeah, I can sit up- No big deal."  Not bad for 7 weeks old!
(P.S. Thanks Aunt Brooke for the Bumbo!)

First Day of School!

I can't believe that my little Jacob started Kindergarten today- It seems like just yesterday... Okay I'll stop here with the sappy stuff.  He was so excited to go.  You can see from the pictures that he was the first one on the bus (notice that he's also the biggest kid- good old September birthday!). After school he said he had a great day and can't wait to go back tomorrow.
Check out my friend's link to see a picture of Jacob on his very first day of Preschool 3 years ago (incidentally, he's on the very same sidewalk with his very same friend)

Happy Baby

The first time I put Bethany in her crib with her new mobile, she spit out her pacifier and gave a HUGE smile.  I'm so glad I bought it!

And it only took 15 tries...

... to get her to look at the camera!!

(P.S. Thanks Aunt Paula for the cute dress!)

Bowling at BYU

A couple weeks ago, we decided to go bowling at BYU.  The boys had a blast!  Afterward, we went to the creamery to relive college memories.

New Pictures of Bethany

These pictures were taken at Bear Lake (except the first one), so Bethany is just over 3 weeks old.  Does anyone else think she looks like a baby bird?

More Bear Lake Pictures

Bear Lake

We just got back from a very fun vacation at Bear Lake.  The boys loved playing in the sand at the lake during the day and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows at night.  In the first picture, Jeffrey and Jacob are showing off the fish they caught (it was about 1 inch long).  This year I think we set a record for the number of people we fit on the Surrey bike (there were 9).

All Aboard!

On our way to Bear Lake, we stopped at Ogden's Union Station where we saw lots of cool trains.  The boys had fun (especially Daddy) and Bethany enjoyed riding in the front pack for the first time.
