Sweet Boy

Today at the LEGO store, Kyle worked intently on building something the whole time we were in there. When I went over to see his work, I had to laugh- I love that kid!

Rock Creek Park

Today we visited Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC. They have a small nature center and planetarium. The boys had a great time exploring the park and nature center. And they loved the planetarium show.

Jacob got to experience being a beekeper (at least wearing the gear).

Bethany dressed up as a butterfly.

Jacob looked for and identified butterflies.

We had a picnic lunch too.

It was a great day!

Alexandria Farmer's Market

This morning we went to the Alexandria Farmer's Market. Apparently, this Farmer's Market has been going since 1753 and George Washington used to send his produce from Mount Vernon there to be sold. It was really fun and it was a beautiful day.

Fireflies!

Last night, we had some friends over for a movie night, then all the kids went outside to catch fireflies. My kids love the fireflies here and they are plentiful in our backyard. I think that God created them just for the sake of coolness.
