This past week I broke my nearly 7 year streak of not sleeping in a tent (I prefer to camp at the Marriott). We went up to Mirror Lake (past Kamus) with our friends the Pedersens. The lake was beautiful and we had a blast.

Jacob absolutely loved fishing even though he didn't catch anything. He keeps asking to go again.
Kyle had fun fishing too.
Bethany conked out in the hiking backpack. Hmm, wonder why... Maybe because she screamed for almost 3 hours during the night.

Wow! You guys are amazing. I would say that it looks like fun. . .but, even though Mirror Lake is beautiful, camping just seems like a ton of work to me. I hope you all had fun (minus the screaming baby part.)The real test is, will you do it again?
It was a ton of work and a ton of stuff for one night, but it was really fun. I think next year will be easier when Bethany's a little bigger. Anyway, I have a year to recover, right?
We did have a great time! We'll go with you again. Next year we'll have the screaming baby and end upin the van all night.;)
