Strawberry Days

One thing I love about living in Pleasant Grove is enjoying all of the Strawberry Days festivities.

We started off by going to the concert in the park. Bethany got her groove on:

And drank about a gallon of my diet cherry lime-aid.

Kyle chilling at the park

We went to Huck Finn day on Friday and saw our friends Ali and Lydia. It was crazy busy this year, but I have to go- it's tradition! The kids did the cakewalk and got doughnuts, then played on the playground. We stood in a huge line so the kids could go down the big bounce house/slide, then I was done.

Saturday was the annual "Strawberry Days Parade"

(I know there's a lack of any pictures of Jacob in this post, but every picture I have of him, he has a sulky look on his face. He really did have fun and he really was there)

On our way to church

Kyle's Birthday

For Kyle's 5 birthday (May 16), he had a movie night party with all his friends. It was actually a really easy and fun party to plan- but let's just say that when the movie was over there had to be a major cleaning intervention to get all the popcorn and candy off the living room floor. I have lots of pictures from his party, but they're on my other computer (which is packed until August).

I do have pictures of the family celebration we had on his actual birthday (which was a Sunday). Isn't the Batman cake cool? Jermie and I made it- Again, I have a lot more pictures on my other computer, but you get the idea.

Bethany on Trumpet

We have another budding musician in our house. I love the look on her face at the beginning. The sad thing is that she buzzes the trumpet better than I can. Oh well...

I'm Back!

The last couple of weeks have been a blur of cleaning, packing and inhaling waaaay too much 409 Cleaner. I am happy to say that I'm feeling a little back to normal and ready to catch up a little on the blog (I even gave my blog a face-lift). The only problem is that a lot of my pictures from the last few months are on our desktop computer which is in storage. Oh well- I'll make do with what I have. So, I'm glad to be back and I hope that someone out there is still reading...
