Our first stop on our Pennsylvania trip was to Gettysburg. We did the driving tour and got out at several stops to see the important landmarks.
We climbed a big lookout here to see the battlefield.
This is a monument that was built to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the battle at Gettysburg. All the surviving veterans from both sides were invited to attend (the government even paid for their travel expenses!)
