- I am the youngest of 4 kids and loved growing up as the baby.
- I love strawberry jam on garlic toast
- I’ve never sent a text message.
- The summer before I got married, I went backpacking through Europe with my best friend. We stayed in hostels and everything.
- My favorite place in Europe was Salzburg, Austria.
- I don’t drive a stick shift car- I can, but I’m terrified of it.
- My husband and I met at BYU where we had 7 classes together one semester.
- My least favorite chores are scrubbing the bathtub and laundry.
- I love to do indoor spinning and go about twice a week.
- I really don’t like to run, but I ran a half marathon a few years ago to say that I did it.
- I once broke my arm skiing on Christmas Eve.
- I love cold cereal and could live off of it.
- Most people would be surprised by the music on my iPod. Here’s a sample of what I have: Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Carie Underwood, Leona Lewis and Dvorak. (I really only use my iPod when I’m working out)
- I love talk radio even though I hated when my Dad played it growing up.
- I love to read books that are true stories such as “A Boy Named It” and “The Glass Castle”
- I don’t like to drink anything thick- smoothies, chocolate milk, etc.
- I took 5 years of German in middle/high school.
- My Dad nicknamed me “Hambone” growing up (still not sure why…)
- My brother Zach is the only one who still calls me “Bone” (and he’s taught his 2 year old to do it too)
- I once won a contest writing an essay titled “What a Police Officer Means to Me” I got to ride in the police car at the beginning of a parade. (My only time in a police car…)
- I taught Junior High Orchestra for 3 years.
- I don’t have a middle name.
- I love Italian food.
- Even though I grew up in Virginia, none of my family lives there anymore (they’re all in Utah)
- I don't like doughnuts

25 Random Things About Me
I was tagged on Facebook to write 25 random things about myself, so I thought I'd put the list on my blog for those of you who aren't cool enough to be on Facebook.

And jam on garlic toast? That sounds strange too, but I'll take your word for it. It was fun to get to know you a little better by reading these random thoughts. You are awesome!
I definitely have other vices to replace my indifference to doughnuts. Chocolate, cookies, candy, brownies, etc etc etc.
I know jam on garlic toast is weird, but we grew up eating it- It's virtually comfort food!
I was surprised how many of those things I knew about you! Some of course I did not know, like the jam on garlic toast! What was my sister thinking feeding you that!! Seriously, that was fun to read. I sometimes wonder why we are friends...except for the running thing. I'm with ya on that one.
